Mount Vernon Dental Specialists was founded by Dr Sheila Diamond who qualified at Queens University, Belfast in 1975. During the next 15 years of extensive experience in dental practice in London, she developed a keen interest in Periodontics (gum disease treatments), a branch of dentistry which had been neglected in the UK in comparison to the USA. In 1995 she undertook specialist training and obtained her Specialist qualification in Periodontics at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London. Soon after, Sheila established her Private Periodontal practice in Northwood and, in February 2004, moved the practice to its new facilities at Mount Vernon.
Assisting Dr. Diamond is a team of Dental Specialists providing Periodontic, Endodontic, Prosthodontic and Implant treatment who are dedicated to providing a consistent standard of excellence and support, on which the referring dentist can depend.
We offer the finest specialist dental treatment utilising the very latest technology and equipment in five state-of-the-art treatment rooms.
Patients may come directly to the Specialist centre or through referral from their own dentist. Either way, if you have an oral health condition that requires specialist treatment, we are here to help.
