Dr Sheila Diamond BDS MSc Practice Principal, Specialist in Periodontics	Sheila qualified at Queens University, Belfast and moved to London in 1976. During the next 15 years of extensive experience in NHS and private dental practice she developed a keen interest in Periodontics (gum disease treatments), a branch of dentistry which had been neglected in the UK in comparison to the USA. In 1995 she obtained her Specialist qualification in Periodontics at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London. Soon after, Sheila established a private Periodontal practice in Northwood and, in February 2004, moved the practice to its new facilities at Mount Vernon. She is an active member of the American and British Societies of Periodontology, being the latter's Regional Representative for the Middx, Herts and Bucks region, and she also regularly lectures in Periodontics in London and the Home Counties.

Dr Bola Soyombo BDS MSc Specialist in Periodontics	Implant services are provided by Dr. Bola Soyombo MSc Periodontology (1995 Eastman Dental Hospital). Her clinical practice is restricted to implant therapy. With her oral surgery background as well as Periodontics, she has a special interest in all aspects of aesthetic procedures involved in implant therapy. Bola is also involved with various Implant companies, providing implant training to general dentists both in the United Kingdom and Internationally. Implant Systems used include Astra Dentsply Straumann, Endopore and 3i. She also provides Implants and Periodontics at her practice in Milton Keynes with her husband, a Specialist in Orthodontics.

Dr Peter Yerbury BDS MSc(Texas) Prosthdontics	Dr Peter Yerbury BDS (Lond.) MSc (Texas) Specialist in Prosthodontics Dr Yerbury graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London, in 1984. He spent a number of years in further hospital training appointments in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery, before gaining experience in general dental practice with particular interest in Prosthodontics. He embarked on the North American Specialist training in Prosthodontics, completing the three year programme at the University of Texas in 1992. He graduated with a Masters Degree in the same year, gained Specialist Registration in Prosthodontics in the UK and continues to be an active participant in study groups in UK, Europe and USA. Dr Yerbury provides fixed restorations for many situations, ranging from single teeth to complex full mouth rehabilitation, in close co-ordination with other Specialists and referring colleagues. He also has a particular interest in removable prostheses, with application of advanced functionally generated techniques. Where appropriate, implants are used to support both fixed and removable prostheses. Aesthetic evaluation and treatment is provided upon request in accordance with current, ethical Prosthodontic practice. Dr Daljit Jagdev BDS MSc MFGDP Periodontics	Dr Jagdev completed her masters in Periodontology under Prof Richard Palmer at Guys in 2001 and has worked in specialist practice since. She has held posts in Surrey, Berkshire, the West End and was corporate periodontist for British Petroleum till 2004. She has also been involved with the undergraduate training programme at Guys as a part-time clinical demonstrator. In 2001, Daljit presented her dissertation, nominated for the Sir Wilfred Fish Prize, to the British Society of Periodontology meeting in London. She has returned to work recently, having had twins and is able to offer all aspects of general and advanced periodontal treatment.

Dr. Negin Mosahebi BDS MFDS RCS (Ed) MSc (Endo) Endodontics	Dr. Mosahebi qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London in 1998. She won the Malleson Prize for her final year research project on caries detection. Negin continued to work at Guy’s Hospital as house officer, where she gained significant experiences in restorative and oral maxillofacial fields For the past 3 years, Dr. Mosahebi’s work has been solely devoted to Endodontics in a referral-based practice in central London. She completed her Masters Degree in Endodontics in September 2006 at Guy’s Hospital, and has recently joined the team of Mount Vernon Dental Specialists. Negin’s areas of expertise are diagnosis of oral and facial pain, root canal treatment and re-treatment of previously failed cases, removal of posts and fractured instruments and surgical endodontics. Negin is very happy to provide help and advice based on the most recent evidence-based Endodontic practice.

Dr Farid Monibi BDS M Clin Dent MFDS MRD MRCS RCS Prosthodontics	Farid is our specialist prosthodontist. He qualified from Guy’s Hospital, and following hospital posts in oral & maxillofacial surgery, restorative dentistry and paediatric dentistry, he enrolled in a three-year fulltime postgraduate course in prosthodontics at Guys. He gained his MFDS at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and went on to complete his masters in Clinical Dentistry in prosthodontics. In addition to his practice in Harley Street, Farid has taught part time at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital. He carries out all aspects of fixed and removable prosthodontics. His main areas of interest are dental implantology and minimal intervention cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, and the British Society for Restorative Dentistry. Farid is married with 2 children and lives in London.

Dr Emiliano Zanaboni DDS MSc Periodontics	Dr Emiliano Zanaboni DDS MSc has recently joined Mount Vernon Dental Specialists carrying out Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. After graduating from Turin University (Italy) in 1997 with Honours, he undertook in 1999 a 2-year full-time program at New York University in Implant Dentistry, studying with worldwide-renowned Implant Surgeons and Periodontists Dr D. Tarnow, C Mish, S Wallace and S Froum. Since then he has limited his practice to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. He currently uses Straumann, 3I, Nobel Biocare and Endopore Implant Systems specializing in the regenerative aspects of Implant dentistry (Socket Preservation, Sinus lifts, Ridge Augmentation). He is currently also undertaking the MClinDent in Periodontology at the Royal London Hospital.
