The Staff

Karen Haines Practice Manager	Karen comes from an Operational Call Centre Management background but more recently worked for 3 years in Primary Care where she utilized her skills as Practice Manager, and Business Manager, running an Out of Hours Doctors service. Karen is keen to continue with the ongoing development of Mount Vernon Dental Specialists and is looking forward to expanding the services that are currently provided.

Alka Tahirllari Receptionist	Alka is originally from Albania and moved to England to develop his career. Alka joined Mount Vernon Dental Specialists having worked previously as a receptionist in the prestigious Q Clinic in Harley Street London.

Rita Shah Senior Nurse	Rita comes with a long record of nursing and care in Dentistry. She has undertaken Specialist Nursing training and is assigned to the Periodontal and Implant Specialists.

Merina Ashok Dental Nurse	Merina is a qualified dentist from India with considerable hospital experience. She chose to be a Dental Nurse when she came to the U.K. and joined our practice to improve her nursing skills in different aspects of Specialised Dentistry. She has already worked as an Orthodontic nurse High Wycombe. She is married with one son.

Yamile Rodgers Dental Nurse	Yamile joined us in September 2007 and works with us for 3 days a week. Yamile originates from Cuba where she spent 3 years training in General Dentistry; she is currently studying to take her Certificate in Dental Nursing. She gained 1 years experience as a dental technician in a practice in Harley Street before progressing her career towards nursing; she continues to work 1-2 days per week as a Dental Nurse in Harley Street. Yamile is married with 2 young children, and in her spare time she enjoys Salsa dancing.
